Open Farm started in 2014 when co-founder Jacqueline Prehogan rescued her first dog, Bella. Bella's companionship inspired Jacqueline to search out pet food aligned with her animal welfare, sustainability, and transparency standards. Unsatisfied with what she found, Jacqueline, her husband Isaac, and brother-in-law Derek set out to develop an ethical and sustainable pet food, and Open Farm was born. Today Open Farm is committed to delivering premium pet nutrition that meets the highest standard of quality and care, every step of the way from sourcing to production.
