About The Manufacturer
In early 2000, Primal founder Matt Koss found that his dog, Luna, was displaying early signs of renal failure. After taking the advice of a holistic veterinarian, Matt created his own raw pet food for Luna. He noticed that she quickly began to show an increase in appetite, energy, and overall happiness. Transition Instructions
It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to Primal Pet Foods entirely.
