Nulo Freestyle Senior Dog Trout and Sweet Potato Recipe is a grain-free, dry dog food featuring 82% of protein from real meat like trout, turkey, and salmon. The addition of L-Carnitine helps the metabolism of fats for dogs that aren’t as active as they used to be. Glucosamine and Chondroitin are added to support hip and joint health in older dogs. This diet also has whole fruits and vegetables to support immune health.
About The Manufacturer
Nulo was founded when Michael Landa noticed an increasing trend of overweight and diabetic cats and dogs, and he set out to find the source of the problem. Michael found that many pet foods were filled with empty calories that came from filler ingredients so he teamed up with animal nutritionists, veterinarians, and food formulators to create recipes with great sources of animal-based proteins that are lower in carbs and use low-glycemic ingredients to promote healthy body condition and stable energy.

provides 100% complete and balanced nutrition for the maintenance of adult dogs. It is ideal for dogs in their senior years. This formula is not intended as the sole diet for growing puppies, pregnant or lactating dogs – as they have special nutritional needs that require a different balance of protein, calories and other nutrients.
Transition Instructions
It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to Nulo food entirely.
