  • Provides higher levels of fiber (7.5%) from a blend of Miscanthus Grass, Dried Chicory Root, and whole food ingredients like chickpeas, lentils, & sweet potatoes.
  • Natural fibers help to keep swallowed hair moving along the digestive tract, helping to prevent the build up and regurgitation of accumulated hair.
  • Nulo’s high levels of animal-based proteins and amino acids that are highly digestible, Omega-3’s from Salmon Oil, and Omega’6’s from Chicken Fat work together to support coat maintenance (less shedding).
  • Many cats that struggle with hairballs are indoor cats who get less activity than those with access to indoor/outdoors. Nulo’s hairball management recipes have the added benefits of moderate fat levels and L-Carnitine help to support a lean body condition for adult cats.

About The Manufacturer

Nulo was founded when Michael Landa noticed an increasing trend of overweight and diabetic cats and dogs, and he set out to find the source of the problem. Michael found that many pet foods were filled with empty calories that came from filler ingredients so he teamed up with animal nutritionists, veterinarians, and food formulators to create recipes with great sources of animal-based proteins that are lower in carbs and use low-glycemic ingredients to promote healthy body condition and stable energy.

A cat’s requirement may vary from the guidelines below due to age, breed, environment and activity level. Adjust food as required to maintain optimal body weight. Always provide plenty of clean, fresh water and hugs.

Weight (lbs)                                       Feed Adult Daily
Up to 4 lb: ¼ – ½ cups
5 – 9 lb: ½ – ⅔ cups
10-14 lb: ⅔ – ¾ cups
Over 14 lb: 1 cup + ¼ cup for every 4 lb

Transition Instructions
It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to Nulo food entirely.
