Over 25 years ago Charlee Bear set out to develop a healthy, natural dog treat that would be so delicious that dogs would respond over and over. It would be great for training puppies and rewarding dogs of all sizes and ages.
Charlee Bear wanted that treat to be healthy, natural, and not full of calories. So, with the help of veterinarians, food scientists, bakers, trainers, people and dogs, they developed Charlee Bear Dog Treats. Charlee Bear's earliest treats were made by hand in a neighborhood bakery and delivered to stores in their own cars. They don't make their treats by hand anymore because Charlee Bear treats are used by trainers and dog lovers all over the US, Canada and recently Japan.
But one thing hasn't changed—they are made in the USA from all natural, USA ingredients. The special baking process we use makes our treats light, crunchy, low in calories and "pocket perfect".
